I'm Joseph-Albert (you can call me Joe). I was born and raised in Accra, Ghana.
I graduated from the University of Houston with a Bachelors In Business Administration In Management Information Systems (MIS). I came back home to Ghana where I later got my Masters of Science (Msc) in MIS.
I first started started off as an Information Security Auditor for three years before I decided to switch career paths to User Experience Design in 2015.
I started off as a freelance designer and starting a usability startup lab in 2016. I worked as a UX Designer for Flutterwave in 2017 before switching roles to Business Development Manager.
I currently work at Jetstream Africa as a UX/UI Designer.
When I'm not working, I'm busy creating content for the leading digital tech news platform in Ghana called TechNovaGH.com. With Tech Nova, I've written about the ecosystem and worked with different brands and companies including MTN, HMD (Nokia), Standard Chartered, Social Media Week and the Re:Publica.
In my spare time, I like to write and blog. I like to write about personal perspectives as well as fiction and short stories
I recently got into podcasting and now I'm the host of two podcasts: PodTakes and 2 Guys 1 Controller
I'm big into travel. Recently start travelling international and I like to take road trips in Ghana
Yep. I actually like to design in my spare time as well. I like to work on concepts and experiments and other types of design
I'm an avid reader and always looking for the next best book on Kindle (either fiction or non fiction)
I've been a gamer since I was a kid. If I'm not too tired from work, I like to play an RPG or Rocket League
